The profession I have chosen in the Police Law Enforcement category of criminal justice is a Drug Enforcement Administration agent. This job requires dealing with all major drug offenders, such as drug trafficking and major drug trades. DEA agents work for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and their mission is to eliminate the use and sale of drugs in the United States. The duties of a DEA agent change based on the current drug issues. Some of the duties that an agent may be asked to perform include investigating new drugs emerging in communities, or gathering evidence for a case. Various agents are also sent undercover to accumulate information on expected drug leaders. Additionally agents have the job of transporting potentially dangerous suspect and carrying out arrests. Applicants for a position as a DEA agent must hold a Bachelor s degree in something relevant to the criminology field, such as criminal justice. Andy Warhol, born Andrew Warhola on August 6, 1928, was one of the most successful artists within the pop art movement. At the age of 8, Warhol was diagnosed with a rare, sometimes fatal, disease named Chorea. Also known as St. Vitus’s dance, a neurological disorder that is characterized by jerky involuntary movements affecting especially the shoulders, hips and face. Warhol, was left bedridden of several months, however during these months was when he found out about his talent for drawing.
